Colorado College Daze 2024 Recap

On Friday October 4, 2024 Eco Village (501(c)(3) and Colorado College Student Government Association collaboratively hosted a vintage market at HYBL Community Center for the benefit of the community and the student body. The event was sponsored by The Hause Collective; a local, sustainable, business, and included 4 other vendors, as well as CC Mobile Arts Bus. Checkout our recap video below.

Impact:

• Approximately 250+ students were in attendance throughout the duration of the event

• 3 CC student artists/groups performed live music, sharing their art with the community

• 400+ lbs of textile (clothing) were distrusted , reducing waste

• Suitability was demonstrated in the for of offering secondhand clothing from vendors

• Local vendors were supported within the community

• The community and Colorado College were able to collaborate exemplifying unity

• The event was student led and had a positive impact on students in attendance
